1. The Promotion: What and how does it work?

1.1 What is this Promotion all about?

Lucozade Alert are giving you the chance to win one of thousands of prizes between 00:00 6th February 2023 and 23:59 30th April 2023. In United Kingdom, The Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, this is with every purchase of a promotional pack of Lucozade Alert from participating UK Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Co-op and convenience stores.

1.2 How long is the Promotion running for?

The Promotion opens at 00:00 on 6th Feb 2023 and closes at 23:59 on 30th April 2023.

1.3 How do I enter this Promotion?

To enter the promotion you must purchase a promotional pack of Lucozade Alert from a participating Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Co-op or convenience store and scan the QR code on pack or visit www.lucozadealertwin.co.uk. You will be asked to enter your full name, email address, mobile number and last 4 digits of the barcode on your promotional pack. You will then be prompted to play a 30 second game where you will need to score at least 1 point to be eligible to be in with a chance of winning a prize. If you are a winner, you will be notified immediately on screen of which instant win prize you have won.

1.4 Do I need to be connected to the internet to enter the Promotion?

An internet connection, valid mobile phone number and valid email address are required to enter the Promotion and to claim your prize. Valid UK bank account, smartphone and original itemised till receipt required in order to claim a prize.

1.5 Which products are included in the Promotion?

Eligible promotional Lucozade Alert products include the following (subject to availability):

1.6 I don’t have any of the participating stores near where I live, can I still enter the Promotion?

We are running this Promotion as an exclusive to Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Co-op and convenience store shoppers. Promotional bottles are available to order from the retailers’ individual websites subject to availability. Terms apply, see website for details.

1.7 How often can I enter and how many times could I win an instant win prize?

Maximum of one entry per person, per mobile number, per day with a maximum of six (6) entries in total throughout the Main Promotional Period. You can only win 1 cash prize per person, per mobile number. In the event that multiple prizes have been won by a single person, email address, mobile number or bank account throughout the duration of the promotion, these prize(s) may be placed on-hold or rejected by the Promoter. Anyone found trying to circumvent this condition by using alternative details will be disqualified. No bulk, consumer group or third-party entries will be accepted.

1.8 Do I have to purchase a Lucozade product to enter?

To enter the promotion, you must purchase a promotional pack of Lucozade Alert from a participating Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Co-op or convenience store and scan the QR code on pack or visit www.lucozadealertwin.co.uk.

1.9 How old do I have to be to enter?

You must be eighteen (18) years or over to enter this Promotion.

1.10 How are winners notified?

If you are a winner, you will be notified immediately on screen of which instant win prize you have won.

1.11 What details will I need to enter?

To submit your entry, you will need to enter your full name, email address, mobile number and last 4 digits of the barcode on your receipt. If you are a winner, you will be asked to upload your receipt. Receipts must be legible and valid and all cash prizes will validated manually.

1.12 If I win a cash prize what happens next?

Winners of a Tier 1 and 2 prize will receive an on-screen message containing a link to a claim form where they will be asked to fill in their bank details comprising full name (as shown on the bank account statement and which must also match the name used upon entry), account number and sort code of a valid UK bank account and county. Under new banking operational processes, the exact account name on the bank account needs to be supplied, otherwise a bank transfer may not be successful. Winners will also be required to upload an image of their original itemised till receipt clearly showing purchase of promotional pack during the promotional period.

1.13 I am not in the UK. Can I still enter?

Only residents of the UK, The Channel Islands and the Isle of Man can enter the Promotion.

1.14 Where can I buy promotional Lucozade Alert and where can I redeem my coupon if I win?

Promotional Lucozade Alert can be purchased at Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, Co-op and independent retailers. Coupons are redeemable at Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, Co-op and independent retailers where Lucozade Alert is stocked and there is an Epay, PayPoint or Payzone facility. Unfortunately coupons are not redeemable at Sainsbury’s.

2. Prizes

2.1 What Prizes are available to win?

There are three (3) types of prizes to be won throughout the promotional period and these will be automatically allocated to each winner instantly.

2.2 Can I choose my prize?

No, if you have won, you will automatically be allocated a prize at random. You can enter a maximum of one entry, per person, per mobile number, per day, with a maximum of six (6) entries in total throughout the Main Promotional Period.

2.3 How long do I have to claim my prize and how do I do this?

Winners of a cash prize will be notified that their claim will be validated within 7 days. If their claim is valid, their prize will be delivered via bank transfer within 28 days of claim. If their claim is invalid, they will receive an email notifying them of the reason why and, if applicable, giving them the opportunity to rectify their claim. If a winner does not complete their claim form within 7 days, they will receive a reminder email with a link to the claim form giving them a further 7 days to claim their prize. If they do not claim their prize within the 7 days of receiving the reminder email, the prize will be forfeited. In addition to the above, winners of the top cash prize of £5,000 will also receive a phone call to the mobile number provided upon entry to verify their win and confirm their bank details.

2.4 How will I receive my prize?
  • Cash prizes will be awarded to winners via bank transfer and the winner must have a valid UK bank account.
  • Winners of a coupon will receive an on-screen message informing them that they will receive a text message to the mobile number provided upon entry containing a link to a digital coupon. Upon clicking the link, winners will be redirected to the online coupon redemption page where they will be able to view details on how to redeem their digital coupon.
2.5 Where can I redeem my coupon?

Winners of a coupon will be redirected to the online voucher page that will display a barcode and a store finder. Each digital voucher will be for a free can of Lucozade Alert to the value shown on the Voucher (up to a maximum value of £1.55) or 50% off a multipack (up to a maximum value of £1.50) and is subject to availability of promoted product. Coupons will be available to be redeemed at Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, Co-op and participating convenience stores within 14 days from date of issue. For the avoidance of doubt, the digital coupon is not valid to be redeemed in Sainsbury’s. Please note that not all stores that will stock the promoted product are able to process the voucher. The winner will be prompted to activate the final coupon code at point of purchase and will then have 20 minutes to redeem the coupon. Any coupons not redeemed at checkout within 20 minutes of activation will become null and void. No paper coupons will be issued.

2.6 I've won an instant win prize but haven’t received it. What should I do?

3. Issues/Problems

3.1 I'm having trouble entering my details, what should I do?

Please make sure you are following all the on-screen directions carefully, and that you are entering all fields marked with an asterisk (*). Any mistakes or errors you make will be prompted online. If you are still getting an error message and you are not sure why, please contact the Consumer Care team by completing the contact us form on our website; https://www.lucozade.com/support/

3.2 My computer / the website crashed as I was entering the Promotion, how will I know if I've entered successfully?

A valid entry has been made if you enter your barcode on the microsite home page, you have played the game and received a message displayed on screen with your win/lose result.

If you have won one of the cash prizes you will receive an on-screen message containing a link to a claim form where they will be asked to fill in their bank details comprising full name (as shown on the bank account statement and which must also match the name used upon entry), account number and sort code of a valid UK bank account and county. Under new banking operational processes, the exact account name on the bank account needs to be supplied, otherwise a bank transfer may not be successful. Winners will also be required to upload an image of their original till receipt clearly showing purchase of promotional pack during the promotional period or an image of their promotional pack showing the last 4 digits of barcode. Once this form has been submitted, winners will be notified that their claim will be validated within 7 days. If their claim is invalid, they will receive an email notifying them of the reason why and, if applicable, giving them the opportunity to rectify their claim. If a winner does not complete their claim form within 3 days, they will receive a reminder email with a link to the claim form giving them a further 14 days to claim their prize. If they do not claim their prize within the 14 days of receiving the reminder email, the prize will be forfeited. In addition to the above, winners of the top cash prize of £5,000 will also receive a phone call to the mobile number provided upon entry to verify their win and confirm their bank details.

3.3 The website isn't loading / working properly. What should I do?

3.4 I haven’t got my receipt
If you are a winner, you will be asked to upload your receipt. Receipts must be legible and valid as they will be validated. If you haven’t got your original receipt, unfortunately you will be unable to claim your prize.

4. The Promotional Website

4.1 Are my details secure on this website?

Yes. This website uses an SSL certificate to provide 2048-bit encryption to all of our Promotion participants. This encrypts the data that you send and receive from the site during the registration and login processes. It encrypts your personal information so that it is impossible to read when it travels across the internet.

4.2 What will you do with the details I provide when entering?

The details we ask you for are for communication purposes around this Promotion only. We will use them to deliver your prize, and to communicate the status of prize fulfilment with you.
